Glasgow European Citizens Forum, which the European Movement in Scotland (EMiS) helped establish, has a new lease of life under the leadership of Clare Scanlan. The Forum held a hugely successful European Traditional Dance Workshop on Sunday 2nd November. The Glasgow venue was filled to capacity with over 120 people, representing dancers and communities from Brittany, Italy, Ireland, Poland and Ukraine.
The European Movement in Scotland is committed to promoting the essential European value of free speech. Consequently, we regularly publish articles by leading academics, journalists and others discussing issues germane to Scotland’s place in Europe. Such articles do not necessarily reflect the views of the European Movement in Scotland.
