The Scottish Greens and Europe – Interview with Ross Greer
15 June 2022, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
The Scottish Greens, now part of the Scottish Government for the first time after winning seven seats at Holyrood in 2021, campaign for independence within the EU but reject membership of NATO. Why do they think this way? Or could they see the UK rejoining the single market and customs union as transitional steps to rejoining the EU?
Ross Greer, the party’s spokesman on education, finance and external affairs, is the latest MSP in our series to face questions from European Movement in Scotland’s chair Mark Lazarowicz on the party’s stance towards Scotland and the EU. Join us for a breath of fresh air thinking.
The event will be recorded, you can catch up later here.
