he UK’s Star of European Unity and Peace, colloquially called ‘Our Star’ is starring in a campaign of public discussions and events throughout the country to explore what kind of civil society we want to be in the future.  We call this campaign ‘Choosing our Future’ and the debates involved, “Forums for the Future’. This Zoom webinar will introduce the objectives, methods and people behind the Campaign, highlighting the Forums for the Future, and the events hosted by our associates on the ‘Road to Our Future’ as Our Star travels around the country, as shown below.

The webinar agenda will be:
Background and aims of the Campaign: Peter French (OurStar.org.uk)
Introduction of our associate groups and their spokesperson for the first Campaign Trek: Peter French
Each will give a 5-10-minute summary of the events, dates and locations whilst they host Our Star:
London for Europe,      East Kent for Europe,    Bristol for Europe,   Wales for Europe,
Leeds for Europe,      EuroMov in Scotland     NorthEast for Europe     and   ThankEUfortheMusic.

By attending this webinar, you will find out not only about the aims and objectives of the campaign and how to support it, but also where and when the events nearest to you are happening.  More information can be found at choosingourfuture.uk.

A recording of the session will be available on-line for subsequent viewing of those registered, and highlights will be shown to MEPs in the European Parliament in Brussels.   The webinar is hosted by London for Europe.

This is a free-to-attend webinar which will be held on Zoom. However, donations to our crowdfunding are most welcome to support the costs of this ambitious campaign and can be made at:  www.OurStar.uk/crowdfunding/
