Women’s Role in Democracy and Peace (Grassroots for Europe)

This Grassroots for Europe webinars addresses with an issue of vital concern to all pro-Europeans and democrats.

2024 is a pivotal year with elections across the world and across Europe, while wars rage and autocratic forces often seem in the ascendant.

Politico.eu warned on Women’s Day that “For women’s rights, the European Parliament election in June could be a watershed moment – and not in a good way.” In recent years, many of these rights have been taken away or threatened significantly. The stakes are high in the UK as well.
