Wales for Europe President Anthony Slaughter, and David Martin, President of The European Movement in Scotland, in conversation about the impact of Brexit on Wales and Scotland.
The Brexit vote raised questions about the identity and future direction of Scotland – which strongly voted to remain in 2016. Wales voted to leave, but as the economic impact of Brexit came to fruition, a recent survey showed that every Welsh constituency regrets Brexit. This in turn has given rise to a strong sense of a Euro-Celtic identity for many people living in Wales and Scotland.
