Highlands & Islands 4 EU Group relaunch in Ullapool

Jo Goodburn, EMiS vice-chair, and Victoria Lee, executive member, will be on hand to spread the word at the Ceilidh Place hotel about Europe and our campaigns.

Jo will giove a presentation on decision making in the EU, about her job there: The Corridors of Brussels – an Insider’s view.  It could be a useful information provider as most pro Brexiteers reasons for not wanting to be part of the EU were and are that they feel decisions are taken by people who know nothing about Scotland etc.  This is an effort to demystify the EU decision making process – something countless UK governments and the UK press have failed to do!  It gives people the info they need to counter arguments that EU law is made by unelected, over paid faceless bureaucrats!!
