France and UK after Brexit (EU-UK Forum)

The EU-UK Forum will be hosting ‘France and the UK After Brexit – Friends? Foes? Foreign Policy Challenges’, which will take place online on Tuesday 1 June.
Denis MacShane, former Labour Minister for Europe, will chair a discussion between Sylvie Bermann, who was French ambassador to Britain during the Brexit referendum and aftermath and Lord (Peter) Ricketts who was UK ambassador to France during the Sarkozy years. He wants to explore with them why the diplomatic establishment in London and Paris got Brexit so badly wrong and what happens now between the UK and France.
The EU-UK Forum is based in Brussels and is run by Paul Adamson.
