3 Years of Brexit: Scotland’s place in Europe (Time for Scotland)

31/01/2023, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Time for Scotland – the group that organised rallies on Supreme Court Verdict Day – is holding a ‘Lights On’ event outside the Scottish Parliament on 31 Jan 2023, urging support for Scotland’s right to self determination.

Our aim is to remind everyone Brexit was the democratic choice of English voters, not Scots.

A majority of citizens in every council area of Scotland voting Remain, and – as the disastrous consequences of Brexit become more and more apparent – Scots were right to ignore the lies, and hollow talk of taking back control by scapegoating Europeans.

So we hope to replicate the turnout and media impact of the Supreme Court verdict day rallies with a call to keep the lights on for Scotland in Europe – at Holyrood, around Scotland and in European capitals.

Confirmed speakers include Alyn Smith MP, Jim Fairlie MSP and Lorna Grant MSP
