Annual Dinner European Movement in Scotland
19 October 2024, 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
We are delighted to announce that Professor Sir John Curtice will be the principal speaker at our annual dinner, to be held at The Piping Centre, Glasgow on Saturday 19th October at 7pm.
Sir John is Senior Research Fellow at the National Centre for Social Research and Professor of Politics at Strathclyde University. He is the UK’s most distinguished psephologist and a universally trusted political analyst on TV, radio, newspapers and online. He is Chief Commentator on the What UK Thinks: EU and What Scotland Thinks websites.
This year’s Dinner also anticipates the completion of our Joint Working Agreement with EMUK under which all members of EMUK living in Scotland will automatically also become voting members of EMiS. We are looking forward to making many new friends at this occasion. To celebrate these new friendships, we will start proceedings with a prosecco reception. Our AGM will be held separately in early 2025 by which time the JWA should be in place.
Please book early as there are only 105 places available.
To request your dinner place/s please do so here. Please note that your place is only confirmed once payment is received, the deadline for which is 4 October.
Dinner places for members are £35.00 a head and £50.00 for non-members. Dress code is smart casual.
