The pressure of our campaign is paying off, with Graeme Dey, Higher Education Minister, telling MSPs this week a pilot project for the Scottish scheme “in the next while” aka this financial year. It clearly would not be the whole thing and might last six months only because of the new “90-day rule” post-Brexit.
Mr Dey said: “One of the significant challenges fore the government, currently and previously, has been budget….But that doesn’t mean we’re not going to fulfil this commitment.”
EMiS will continue to hold Mr Dey’s feet to the fire…(just joking Graeme).
