Podcast: Deal, no deal – or thin deal?

The European Movement in Scotland has launched the first in a brand-new series of podcasts on key European issues we’re calling European Conversations.

In them Kirsty Hughes, leading commentator and analyst when it comes to EU matters and founder of the Scottish Centre on European Relations, will be talking to important and insightful players from across Europe on top[ issues of the day.

In the first of these she discusses with David Gow, former Guardian correspondent in Brussels, editor of webzine Sceptical Scot and EMiS executive member, what happens now between the UK and EU after last week’s summit in Brussels – and how Scotland fits in.

Kirsty has plenty more up here sleeve and on topics going well beyond Brexit as we get ready for life – temporary we hope – outside the customs union and single market.

The European Movement in Scotland is committed to promoting the essential European value of free speech. Consequently, we regularly publish articles by leading academics, journalists and others discussing issues germane to Scotland’s place in Europe. Such articles do not necessarily reflect the views of the European Movement in Scotland.
