Britain and Germany

Message from the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in London:

We want to hear from you. This new year marks the beginning of a new relationship between the UK and Germany. There are challenges ahead which necessitate creativity, cooperation and solidarity. It is a crucial time for progressives on both sides to start thinking about what constitutes British-German relations for the future, and how we can strengthen those relations together. Whether it’s through cultural institutions, trade unions, multilateral organisations, political parties, twinned towns or on the football pitch, the future of these relations is in our hands. We’ve made a start with our new video project, which you can watch below, but most importantly, we want your input. We have created an online form for the public and friends of the FES to contribute to this discussion.

Your thoughts on the future of British-German relations will contribute to the ongoing discussion of the post-Brexit relationship, and it will also inform our work at the FES London.

Please share this video and the online form with friends, family, colleagues, students or on social media. If you are from Germany or the UK and have friends in the other country, pass it on to them. We want to elevate as many voices as possible.

Thank you for your continued support of the FES and we look forward to hearing from you.

With very best wishes,
Nicole and Christos Katsioulis

Directors, FES London
